SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM
Bryan Saunders is one of SAT’s founding members and the current Country Director. He is an ex-commercial farmer and holds a BSc. degree in Agriculture. Bryan provides technical support to SAT teams on Regenerative Climate Smart Agriculture and Agribusiness Development. He facilitates linkages with the private sector in developing and rolling out innovative sustainable agribusiness models to transform Zimbabwe’s smallholder agriculture, with notable successes in the grains, pulses, paprika, sesame, poultry, fodder, and livestock value chains. Bryan has networked with agricultural organizations in the private and public sectors in Zimbabwe.
Lloyd Masunda is SAT’s current Deputy Country Director. He joined SAT in 2017, bringing along vast experience in project management and business development from his previous stints with NGOs such as We Effect, Plan International, Action Aid International, and TechnoServe. Prior to that, he worked as an independent consultant to support the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of pro-poor agricultural development initiatives. He is a key member of SAT’s Resource Mobilisation Team and holds a degree in Business Studies. Lloyd has worked in the NGO sector since 1991.
Dr. Chap Masterson (BVSC, MRCVS) is an eminent wildlife veterinarian with over two decades of hands-on experience in the industry at national, regional, and global level. He brings along rich experience and knowledge in integrated landscape management, community-based natural resource management, conservation, and wildlife management to the SAT team. Dr. Masterson spearheads the design and implementation of innovative and sustainable integrated landscape management and wildlife in development (WILD) initiatives implemented by SAT-WILD in the South-East Lowveld of Zimbabwe. He is the Technical Coordinator in SAT-WILD, a division of SAT.
Stephen Madanhi is an accomplished financial management and compliance specialist with vast experience in managing huge grants from donors that include USAID, EU, FCDO, and FAO, among others. He is SAT’s current Head of Finance, having joined the organization in 2020 as a Project Finance Officer. As Head of Finance, Stephen oversees the work of the Accountant and Project Finance Officers, backstopping them to ensure value for money as well as efficiency and effectiveness in the manner in which SAT applies its resources to achieve desired project results.
